Suzanne Serris

ArleneSuzanne Serris attended the University of North Texas and received a B.A. in Secondary Education and then continued at UNT to receive a M.Ed. in Counseling. She recently graduated with a second Masters degree from UNT Dallas in Educational Administration. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and has experience supervising school counseling interns in a graduate level program.

Suzanne has worked in a variety of educational settings during the span of her career. She was a high school teacher for eight years and has been a counselor at the high school level for the last eleven years. She holds teaching certifications in the areas of Spanish, ESL, English, Language Arts, and Speech Communication. She has extensive experience specializing in helping students succeed in a variety of areas, such as study skills, time management, organization, and character development. She also has expertise in guiding students through the college application process as well as career exploration and vocational development.

Suzanne enjoys serving in her church, spending quality time with family and friends, exercising, traveling, and is committed to helping students become life-long learners.
